Richard Knight

Richard is a Deputy Director in Strategy and Change within HM Revenue & Customs, leading the Business Analysis and Process Design teams. He is also the Programme Director for the Service Excellence Programme, a cultural change programme delivering a more consistent approach to operational management and service delivery.

Richard has been leading and developing Business Analysis teams for over 20 years in both public and private sector organisations. He is a strong advocate for the business analysis profession and has worked across government to get consistency of the role within the wider Government professions. Richard is a longstanding member of the BA Manager Forum and has contributed to several initiatives including establishing the Expert BA qualification and the BA Apprenticeship.
