Vanessa Eriksson is a distinguished and pioneering figure in the field of data management, boasting an extensive track record in Data Strategies, encompassing Data Governance, Security, and Innovation. In her most recent role as the Chief Digital Officer at Zenseact, building software for self-driving cars and probably the most data intense company in Sweden today, she spearheaded the organization's handling of vast volumes of data as an asset. Vanessa leads her own Advisory today empowering organizations to harness the power of AI while implementing ethical decision-making practices and effective data and AI governance. Vanessa has assumed prominent roles in the field of data management, including serving as the Chair of PwC's CDO Advisory Board and contributing to Gartner's North America & EMEA Data and CDO Advisory Boards. Her remarkable achievements include clinching the prestigious Data Management Award and Data & AI Influencer of the Year Award in the Nordics. Beyond her professional endeavours, Vanessa ardently champions the cause of encouraging schoolgirls to pursue an education in engineering. Since 2017, she has been instrumental in organizing and hosting Girls in Tech events dedicated to this mission. Demonstrating her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact, she now serves as the Chair and Founder of Girls in Tech Nordics, a distinguished non-profit organization
