Ryan Preece

Ryan Preece has spent over a decade working in both Enterprise Architecture and Data Governance, currently serving as the Lead at the RNLI, his career has spanned both the public and third sector.

Ryan’s journey in Enterprise Architecture and Data Governance began with a commitment to improving organisational efficiency and data management. His early career saw him developing innovative data strategies in the public sector, where he streamlined complex systems and enhanced data security measures.

With passion for the sea, Ryan transitioned to the RNLI. His tenure saw the implementation of a data governance practice, and aligned policies and standards. Working towards the organisations operational excellence while contributing to its life-saving mission.

Most recently Ryan has been leading the Business Technology function at The Kings Trust (formally The Princes Trust), developing their domain architecture, technology strategy and service design and delivery approach.

Ryan’s commitment to data and technology has helped on the journey to creating an evidence led culture across the third sector, focusing on the importance of data in the organisations Target Operating Model.
