Liz Elliott

Liz was a finalist in the Business Analysis category of the 2024 BCS IT & Digital Apprenticeship Awards.

Having completed a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in History with the Open University, she became a Business Systems Analyst in 2022. Liz feels that the Level 4 Business Analysis apprenticeship was valuable as it provided her with the learning she needed to be a BA.

On first impressions, History and Business Analysis might not seem particularly compatible. However, both have a need to be able to bring information together from a variety of sources and be able to review those findings to reach a more rounded view.

Liz is rather fond of data driven decision making, and would feel somewhat adrift without a whiteboard (digital or real) to sketch something out on.
