Karen is a natural problem solver, able to make complex things simple and easy for others to understand. She has a breadth of systems engineering, business analysis, and technical leadership experience, and she specialises in using systems thinking techniques and innovative approaches.

Karen brings positive energy to working with teams, is results-focused, excellent at adapting to change and great at bringing a whole team together on a journey to achieve a goal.  With 15+ years of experience working in defence and security, she has helped clients innovate their business processes, improve collaboration and user experience, evolve their business systems and ways of working, and influence cultural shifts as enablers to digital transformation.

She challenges clients to think differently, applying innovation planning and experimentation techniques to achieve their goals. She prioritises customer empathy and design for release of customer value and sensitively navigates complex stakeholder environments, building relationships underpinned with her strong technical background.
