Simon is an experienced Enterprise Architect with over a decade of EA leadership and a career dedicated to delivering business and technology change across large, complex organisations.
At NatWest, he serves as Product Owner for 5STAR, the framework he created to define and govern the bank’s 5 Year Strategic Target Architecture and Roadmap, ensuring strong alignment across Architecture, Engineering, and Operations.

He specialises in enterprise-wide architecture frameworks, data-driven architecture, Architecture as Code, and advanced modelling using ArchiMate and complementary notations.
He applies deep expertise in TOGAF, SAFe and enterprise-scale agile to drive clarity, prioritisation and effective delivery.

Beginning his career as a software engineer and working across the full solution delivery lifecycle, he is able to rapidly understand business drivers and translate ideas into actionable, value-driven architectures.
He is passionate about elevating architecture maturity, shaping strategic outcomes and enabling better decision making through data, structure and collaboration.
