Shereen Zafar

I am a Senior Data Modeler in the University of Leeds. I have over 15 years of experience in varied roles in the Banking, Technology, FMCG and HE sector. I love data and working with data. Understanding data and the processes that generate it give us the opportunity to transform and mature as an organisation. Data Management, therefore to me is akin to community service. Data Governance is the scoping of our roles and processes we adhere to.

Data modelling is how we structure our organisation’s data. Data Reporting is how we choose to consume what we sow. Data Integration that drives data transformation to a certain degree is how we choose to architect the access to where our data lives, which is Data Architecture. If I am not working, I am travelling, watching movies and reading. I love spending time with my daughter and family, and friends.
