Sara is a Senior Data Governance Consultant on the Data Integrity team within Zalando’s Central Data Platform, where she drives initiatives to strengthen data quality, governance, and reliability at scale. Zalando, Europe’s leading online fashion and lifestyle platform, serves over 50 million active customers, making robust data practices essential for operational and strategic success.
Originally from Colombia, she has built a truly international career, having lived and worked across France, Germany, and Austria. With a background in International Business and Marketing, she began her journey in Consumer & Market Insights at Unilever, followed by Brand Performance Management at DHL, before moving into product management in data operations platform. Passionate about analytics and data-driven decision making, Sara focuses on strengthening data governance and ensuring data integrity at scale helping teams balance innovation with reliability in complex, data-rich environments.
