Riya Gokharu

Riya is a Design Researcher at Stby/Quicksand, where she has worked in both India and the UK. She applies strategic and qualitative design research across domains, including sustainability, mental health, and urban systems, collaborating with organisations such as Google, Spotify, and the United Nations. Driven by a deep interest in how systems shape everyday life, Riya focuses on responsible design as a means to positively influence human behaviour. She holds a Master’s degree in Expanded Design Practice from Goldsmiths and has a background in interior design.
