Dr. Irina Steenbeek is a seasoned data management practitioner with over 16 years of experience. Her core expertise lies in designing and implementing data management and governance frameworks, building business cases for metadata management and data lineage, and assessing organisational maturity and performance.
Throughout her career, Irina has collaborated with global institutions and organisations of various sizes across multiple sectors. She has given keynote addresses and conducted workshops at multiple international conferences. She also delivered training and coaching projects for global companies.
In 2017, she founded Data Crossroads, a company dedicated to providing training and coaching services in data management. To expand accessibility to her expertise, Irina also established the online training centre, Data Crossroads Academy.
Irina firmly believes that the success of data management initiatives hinges on integrating pragmatic approaches with clear and transparent methodologies.
