Disha Mittal

Disha is a service designer based in London, currently working at Camden council’s Strategy and Design team, on behalf of whom she is sharing this talk. With a portfolio spanning the private and public sector she has successfully improved services, crafted strategies, and created user-centred value propositions. Her climate-tech work during her MA in Service Design at the RCA earned her the honour of meeting HM King Charles. Passionate about design’s power to shape behaviour and culture, Disha is dedicated to driving change through her projects and evolving design frameworks. She has shared insights on platforms such as TEDx, SDinGov and Service Design Network. Disha mentors start-ups and has taught service design across the globe—from Singapore to Switzerland, whilst sharing her knowledge at colleges like Dyson School of Engineering and IIM, India. She is also the founder of Service Design Careers, where she guides service designers in building fulfilling careers.
