LJ Rich

World-renowned music artist and TV broadcaster LJ Rich presents on the international technology show BBC Click. On TV in the last year, LJ delivered lines at 75mph from the UK’s tallest thrill ride, performed to a drone in the sea off the Welsh Coast and learned to rap on camera thanks to a mind-reading AI headset.

She believes AI/Machine Learning can be a companion to creativity and regularly uses it to enhance her original works. LJ is considered a thought leader on how music and machine learning are evolving, and gives talks on how the evolving physical/technological human experience can be mapped to creativity. From voice cloning to cross-genre AI music generation, LJ’s made the Beatles sing Call Me Maybe and given Beethoven a Heavy Metal makeover. A highly accomplished pianist, she enjoys performing live music while explaining technology trends on stage. LJ hosts the United Nations ITU’s Annual AI for Good Global Summit.

As well as music of all kinds, she loves roller coasters, public transportation systems, and solving difficult puzzles. She’s currently working on getting her Rubik’s Cube solve time down to under a minute.
