Gerard Bartley

Gerard Bartley has been doing data for quite a long time. Over the years he has learnt that good data is all about people not technology, simple works better than complicated and there’s always a cheap way to do it. On his journey he’s successfully set up large master data management teams for major multinationals, implemented global data governance programmes, set up data management tools, mentored many aspiring data stars, spoken at numerous data conferences and has co-chaired the IRM UK data management and governance conferences for the last 5 years. He now finds himself managing a large global data migration project, in the US, bringing together all of his experience to ensure that the data finds its new home on time and with the best quality.
