Danny Kalkhoven

Danny Kalkhoven is a highly experienced business analyst with over 20 years of experience and a trainer for BCS courses with ilionX in the Netherlands. Originally starting his career in IT programming, Danny transitioned to business analysis early on, adeptly bridging the gap between technology and business needs. Most of his assignments have been in finance and healthcare environments. A frequent user of models and charts, Danny recognises that even the most beautiful and ‘complete’ model only captures a tiny fraction of the endlessly complex real world.

In addition to his professional expertise, Danny is an accomplished photographer who embraces minimalism by using a “lensless pinhole camera.” His photographic works have been exhibited in prestigious venues in Paris, Tokyo, and across the Netherlands. This unique blend of skills in both photography and business analysis allows Danny to offer a distinctive perspective on the importance of focusing on objectives over tools.
