Excellence in Business Transformation Award 2025

Only one nomination per organisation.

The award is given to the practitioners within a customer organisation (i.e. company/corporation, government agency or non-profit, as opposed to a software vendor or consulting company) in recognition of the business value and technical excellence they have achieved in the design and implementation of an outstanding architecture programme.

Each submission is judged on the following criteria:

  • Clarity of Submission: Well-articulated responses with clear and concise information.
  • Innovation: Introduction of novel ideas or significant enhancements to architecture practices.
  • Impact: Evidence of tangible and measurable results.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
  • Sustainability: Long-term viability and scalability of the initiative.

Submission Information

Submission Details

Describe the change or transformation initiative your team or organisation undertook. What were its objectives, scope, and the drivers behind it?
How was the transformation led and governed? How did you engage stakeholders and promote cross-functional collaboration throughout the process?
What innovative approaches, frameworks, or methodologies did you use? How did they contribute to the effectiveness and success of the transformation?
What measurable results or benefits were achieved (e.g., improved performance, cost savings, enhanced culture or customer experience)? Please provide metrics or evidence where possible.
How is the transformation being sustained within your organisation? What challenges did you face, and what lessons were learned that could benefit others?

Submission Details

• Submissions are due by the 9th May 2025. Only one nomination per organisation.
• All submissions become the property of IRM UK and may be used in part or full for promotional and/or educational purposes.
• We will honour specific confidentiality requests and refrain from making certain information public, however confidential information must be specifically identified and limited to no more than 15% of the overall submission.
• There will be no deadline extensions given to submitting organisations.
• Finalists will be notified in mid-May 2025. All finalists will receive a free 2-day Conference ticket. The winner will be announced and the award will be formally presented at the 2025 Business Change & Transformation Conference Europe. The winner will be invited to present a case study in person at a future IRM UK Conference.
