We are honoured to announce Aching Arms as our official Charity Partner for the Enterprise and Business Architecture Conference, Business Change and Transformation Conference, and the Service Design Conference 2025.
Aching Arms is a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting bereaved parents who have experienced the devastating loss of pregnancy and baby loss. Through their comfort bears—donated in memory of another baby gone too soon—they provide a tangible source of comfort and connection to parents during their darkest moments. These bears are distributed through hospitals, hospices, support groups, and directly to families.
The charity’s Supporting Arms service offers direct support via email and telephone, allowing bereaved parents to speak with others who understand their grief.
Aching Arms also works tirelessly to raise awareness about the long-term impact of baby loss, advocating for better bereavement care both in health settings and at work. They offer workplace consultancy and training for employers and health professionals on supporting bereaved parents.
Aching Arms works in partnership with businesses to create inclusive and compassionate workplaces ensuring that anybody who sadly experiences a loss receives the best support possible. This involves specialist support, workplace training and policy review and guidance. If your business would like to work with Aching Arms to better support bereaved colleagues, please do get in touch with Helen Gallagher, helen@achingarms.co.uk, 07730 285 092
In the last year, Aching Arms has donated over 5,000 bears, demonstrating the growing demand for their services. With their impactful initiatives, the charity has helped countless families feel less alone in their grief, ensuring that their loss is acknowledged and supported.
As part of their efforts, Aching Arms collaborates with organisations such as the International Stillbirth Alliance, the UK Pregnancy & Baby Charities Network , Baby Loss Awareness Week Alliance and the Maternity Consortium to advocate for change and improve bereavement care.
We are proud to support Aching Arms in their mission to bring comfort and hope to bereaved families. Together, let’s create awareness and make a meaningful impact.
