Presentation Skills For Conferences: An Interactive Knowledge Exchange
With David Beckham, Debbie Paul and Adrian Reed

This year, in order to continue to maintain the excellent standard at the European BA Conference whilst also providing yet more development opportunities for the delegates and potential speakers the three panellists have agreed to share some of their presenting secrets; hints and tips that they use to maximise their clarity, content and impact when presenting to audiences of any size.

This will be an interactive panel session, so please come prepared with your questions

Topics (may) include:

  • Managing the Stress of presenting
  • Ensuring content quality
  • Getting your message across
  • Dealing with questions

Those of you who have attended previous European BA Conferences will be familiar with the three panellists for this session, all of whom are experienced, popular and well known presenters on the many and varied topics within the world of Business Analysis.

David Beckham has spent his career working at Aviva and has been a Business Analyst in different guises since the mid-1990’s. He has presented at the European Business Analysis Conference on a regular basis and has had several articles on Business Analysis topics published through various media. Despite being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2010 at the age of 43 David continues to relish his role as a Business Analyst.  He is a passionate advocate of the profession and the benefits it gives to organisations everywhere, and regularly speaks on the positive power of change both on a professional and personal basis.

Debbie Paul, AssistKD Managing Director, has worked in business analysis and business change for many years - editor and author of the best-selling BCS publication, Business Analysis and co-author of Business Analysis Techniques - regular speaker at conferences and seminars - BCS Chief Examiner for Business Analysis - Chartered Fellow of BCS - founder member of the BA Management Forum, a group formed to advance business analysis practice within organisations.

Adrian Reed is a true advocate of strategic analysis and innovation.  In his day job, he acts as Principal Consultant and Director at Blackmetric Business Solutions where he provides Business Analysis consultancy and training solutions to a range of clients in varying industries.
